Ki Sueng Choi, Ph. D., is an associate professor of radiology and neurosurgery at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Choi is an expert in multimodal neuroimaging for deep brain stimulation. Especially, Dr. Choi developed the prospective target selection algorithm/pipeline/toolbox for subcallosal cingulate DBS using diffusion tractography, such as the “Connectomic Targeting Approach” that guides precise surgical implantation of leads and stimulation parameter optimization for long-term stimulation.
