Vikash Gilja is the Chief Scientific Officer at Paradromic, which is a neurotechnology company that develops brain-computer interfaces to record the brain at the highest resolution of neurons. He is also an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and a faculty member of the Neurosciences Graduate Program at UC San Diego. He received a B.S. in brain and cognitive science as well as a M.Eng./B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT and a Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University. His research interests are oriented towards applying biosensor technologies, imaging techniques, and real time signal processing algorithms to advance the engineering science and clinical application of brain machine interfaces.
