Katharine Polasek, Ph.D. is a professor of engineering at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Her research lies at the intersection of neural engineering and rehabilitation, with a focus on developing noninvasive methods to treat phantom limb pain. She works closely with undergraduate students on projects involving peripheral nerve stimulation, EEG analysis, and neural signal processing. Dr. Polasek is also committed to global engineering education and leads a summer study-abroad program in Germany.
