Disa is a current PhD candidate in the department of Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota and is part of the Restorative Neurotrauma Lab led by Dr. David Darrow. Her research interests include electrophysiology, spinal cord injury and neuromodulation. Specifically, she studies the underlying mechanisms of how Spinal Cord Stimulation engages motor circuits.
