Jordyn Ting is a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Ting received her doctorate in Bioengineering with a focus in Neural Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh in 2024 with advisor Dr. Doug Weber. In her doctoral work, she evaluated a novel neural interface for delivering dorsal root ganglion stimulation and worked to better understand the mechanisms underlying the analgesic effects of dorsal root ganglion stimulation in animal models. Her current work involves the application of deep brain stimulation technology to improve motor function in individuals with stroke and other neurodegenerative conditions.
