Layla Houshmand, Ph.D. is the Director of Strategy for Boston Scientific’s Neuromodulation division. She is responsible for the divisional strategy across the pain, interventional spine, and brain franchises and leads all growth and portfolio strategies. Formerly, she was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she advised global medical device clients on medical device commercial strategy and business development. She completed her Ph.D. in deep brain stimulation computational modeling at the University of Michigan under Dr. Parag G. Patil and earned her bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Columbia University.
